For several years, words have been spoken over me and this region.  In December of 2005, God extended His calling which has now become Empowering Life Ministries.  A call was sent forth into the hearts of many in this region to enlist into God’s army which resulted in a mighty team of intercessors and prayer warriors.  God then started to impart Isaiah 11:2 “…The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord – that he will delight in the fear of the Lord…”. 

Intimacy with the Lord became our passion, and a new wineskin developed.  God poured new wine into us, and now many walk in the gift of healing, faith, wisdom and revelation, prophesy, counsel, discernment, and are imparting these gifts into others.  The old mindset that healing, signs and wonders, and the use of His gifts are not for today has been replaced with a new wineskin that everything Christ did when He was on the earth has been given to those who believe according to John 14:12-14, “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father…”.  (NIV) 

We have witnessed His salvation, His miracles, His healings, His deliverance, His power through His authority as we move out in faith. 

This vision includes an equipping and training center, counseling rooms, prayer and healing rooms– a place of refuge for the hurting, sick, lost, and bound.  We also envision a host site for anointed speakers and teachers that provide kingdom thinking principles based on the 5-fold ministry model.  Resources will be available in our bookstore.  This vision is only a piece of the bigger plan that God has to enrich and empower the lives of those He loves so deeply. 

Please join us in lifting up prayers for this region.  Then watch and be a witness to the ‘greater things’ as God transforms this region for His glory.
